SAMSUNG S SERIES HISTORY – S8
In 2010 the series of Galaxy S started in the history of the Samsung family. The Galaxy S was the market break Samsung needed to be noticed in the US smartphone market. Having a feature of a 4inch device size at the time, a variation of 8/16 GB internal storage, a primary camera of 5MP/secondary of 0.3MP it made a worldwide hit and bred the next S series variation.
Galaxy S II came to light and beat the Galaxy S with a 1GB Ram, upgraded camera of 8MP while maintaining the 4 inch device size then S III made its debut with a 2 GB ram, 4.8inch display up to 32 GB of memory space and the breeding continued till we got S4, S5, S6, S7 and now S8.
SAMSUNG S8 REVIEW
The striking break for the Samsung S8 is the security feature incorporated in it. It was launched on the 3rd of April 2017 when the entire world was trying to breathe some fresh air after all the prank that took place on the 1st of April (April fool’s day). It was indeed a great reality check for everyone.
Samsung s8 comes with the security feature of a facial recognition plus iris scanner to enable its owners unlock the phone. This is the most secure biometric feature so far in existence.
One of Samsung’s twitter reviewer who happened to lay his hands on the Samsung s8 device during the launch made a worrying discovery of the biometric security feature. He used a selfie from a different Samsung mobile device to unlock the phone and it brought us to a conclusion that Samsung has a lot to do before the expected release date of the S8 (April 27th 2017).
Asides the Security Feature Of Samsung S8
- The device is still on the 5 inch variations, 5.8 this time.
- Comes with a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
- Single and dual Nano sim slot.
- Runs an android v7 operating system.
- 4gb ram
- 64gb internal memory
- 12mp primary camera, 8mp secondary camera.
This is to mention but a few. As most of Samsung’s audience out there refer to the biometric fall back review from @Marcianophone as the worst of its kind, we only hope that Samsung makes a break for it by the launch of the device before it falls short as the s7 battery exploding horror.
